This study on ‘GSM based water quality monitoring system using Arduino’ is an investigation has been done to study about the water quality monitoring system through a wireless sensor network. It is an experimental based study which delivers a power efficient, effective solution in the domain of water quality monitoring it also provides an alarm to a remote user, if there is any deviation of water quality parameters.

Major Comments

  1. There is no information whether the author has directly done the experiment or it is a review based study.
  2. There is no information on the area of the study. Where the experiment has been done. If the monitoring of water quality based on GSM in any particular area (conclusion of the study mentioning the details about ‘Yamuna River’) it has to be mention in the area of study.
  3. It is also important to mention the period of the study. The author should say to which period the study has been started and to which period it found the result and concluded.
  4. There is no any suggestion has been given as mentioned in the abstract of the study (This paper delivers a power efficient, effective solution in the domain of water quality monitoring it also provides an alarm to a remote user, if there is any deviation of water quality parameters). It is strongly advised to the author to give proper suggestion/ effective solution as mentioned in the abstract of the paper.
  5. There is no proper source of information available for the figures given in the paper. If it is first hand information the investigator should add the proof of source to below the figures or if it is from secondary source of information it should be mentioned in the needed place.

  1. There is no information on the research methodology used for the study. Researcher should concentrate on this part and give the methodology of selecting this particular topic.
  2. For every reference there should be a footnote in the relevant pages.
  3. Researcher can be highlight the research gap and give scope for future research.
