Abstract

Digital learning has redefined how we look at the education environment by offering new customised and flexible learning avenues. This paper analyzes its historical growth and emergence on the Internet, its present tendencies in online learning, and its potential future developments. It looks at the challenges and potential of online education, ranging from issues of equity, accessibility and quality control. This study assesses the effects of the use of digital teaching methods on student performance from the basis of empirical as well as case studies in assessing the effectiveness of the use of digital teaching methods.
