Abstract
Educational psychology is the effective organization of the processes of teaching and learning. It facilitates students’ holistic maturity in the domains of physical, emotional, mental, and moral development. Learning begins when we attempt to assign meaning to the things around us. During this process, language functions as a tool. Through language, which acts as a symbol, a connector, and a medium, meaning is understood. From this understanding, human individuality, society, and history are determined.
This study explains how ideological dominance, mono-meaning constructions, and binary oppositions embedded within language are presented through linguistic structures. Furthermore, it illustrates how the center–margin constructs embedded within teaching-learning practices create hierarchies and differences among students.
