Abstract

Humans constantly seek to fulfill their needs. While life brings changes due to growth, comfort, pleasure and pain, globalization, and diverse ways of thinking, certain traditions and deeply rooted practices in the human mind remain unchanged. These enduring aspects are reflected in continuous cultural practices.

This study aims to identify and examine the persistence of traditional elements in contemporary Tamil worship practices, highlighting how ancient customs continue to manifest even in modern religious life.
