Abstract
When we speak of culture and civilization, we often associate them with higher and lower standards. However, true culture is not determined by a nation’s economic development or scientific progress. It is reflected in the moral values of the people such as unity, compassion, love, kindness, and helping others, and in their righteous way of life. Religion, spirituality, and moral discipline are closely interconnected. Religion guides individuals toward knowledge and righteousness. Spirituality enables a person to understand the self and realize the supreme soul. The ultimate aim of human life is to recognize the relationship between the individual soul and the supreme soul. God is the supreme power who creates, protects, and sustains the universe. Though people worship different deities in different forms, the divine is one. True worship is not limited to temples but exists within the human heart. When one realizes God within, one can perceive the divine everywhere. The soul is eternal and indestructible; it is neither born nor does it die. Human life should be used to elevate the soul through righteous living. All living beings are forms of the divine, and recognizing this truth is the highest spiritual realization. Devotion includes practices such as offerings, vows, and prayers. People express their faith in various ways and seek forgiveness for their mistakes. Complete surrender to God with unwavering faith is considered the highest form of devotion. Thus, in a life filled with both joy and sorrow, faith in God provides hope and meaning. True worship lies in inner purity, and spiritual thoughts guide human beings toward a moral and harmonious life.
