Abstract

Tamil literature stands as both ancient and ever-renewing. Like a well that continuously yields fresh water, it offers new ideas and insights every time it is studied. Among the earliest works in Tamil is the Tolkappiyam, which serves not only as a grammatical treatise but also as a repository of the life and culture of early Tamils who lived thousands of years ago. It plays a significant role in presenting Tamil culture and civilization to the world.
