Abstract

The Kallikkattu Ithikasa serves as a significant record of the traditional arts, customs, and social life of communities in Tamil Nadu. This study explores the social structure, family practices, childhood and adulthood experiences, and interactions with neighboring villages among the Kallikkattu people. The research examines traditional practices, educational and social changes, integrating insights with global ethnographic studies. These findings provide a comprehensive understanding of Kallikkattu people's lifestyle, their representation in literature, and social evolution.
