Abstract

D H Lawrence a famous social novelist who worked for social modernization where the 21st century brought enormous changes in Lifestyle is social relationships and also family freedom due to the advancement of industrialisation and urbanization. His famous Novel, The Invisible Man was published in 1896. It is a piece of storytelling and marked a considerably advance in narrative skills. This novel portrays the story of a pervert in science. Though comic vitality abounds in the opening chapters of this novel, it is really a seriously parableness about human behaviors. Wells demonstrates this short allegory the truism that without social morality men is less than human and power without moral control is dangerous. The books have achieved the status of a science fiction classics of all. It is really noteworthy that James Whale has directed this story as a film. This research paper will try to explain how D H Lawrence is an icon in the depiction of modernism, modern literary theories in the 20th century In spite of so many changes which happened in 21st century due to the advancement of Science and Technology not only in Literature in social science and also social relationships which are being played very important role along with technological developments and social engineering.
