Archival Policy

Shanlax International Journal of Management is an open access academic journal committed to the permanent preservation and free accessibility of all published scholarly content. All articles are published under an open access model and are freely available to readers worldwide without subscription barriers.

The journal operates using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform for manuscript submission, peer review, and publication management. All published articles are permanently archived within the OJS system and stored on secure servers with regular technical monitoring.

To ensure long-term digital preservation, the journal performs routine automated backups of the website database, article PDF files, metadata, and supplementary materials. Backup copies are securely maintained in multiple locations to prevent accidental data loss.

Each published article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref to ensure persistent and permanent identification. DOI registration enables stable linking, global discoverability, and reliable citation tracking.

The journal deposits complete and accurate metadata with Crossref, including author information, abstracts, keywords, references, and publication history. Metadata is regularly updated to maintain citation integrity and indexing accuracy.

Published articles remain permanently accessible on the journal website. Articles will not be removed after publication except in cases of proven ethical misconduct, plagiarism, or legal requirements. In such situations, the original article record will remain online with a clear correction or retraction notice in accordance with international publishing ethics guidelines.

The journal follows international standards for digital preservation, transparency, and academic integrity, supporting compliance requirements for indexing databases such as Scopus and Web of Science.

In case of technical upgrades, platform migration, or journal ownership transfer, all archived content, metadata, and DOI links will be securely maintained without alteration to the scholarly record.
