Computer Awareness Among the B.ED. Student Teachers in Relation to Demographic Variables

Abstract

In recent years the computer has established as an important tool of modern life. Good teachers all over the world have always been looking for more effective teaching aids. To realize the vast potential of computers as a tool for education, effort must be required. The use of computers in teaching has made learning more interesting. Random sampling technique was used for selection of samples. The study consists of 150 B.Ed. Student Teachers. The statistical techniques like mean, standard deviation and t-test were used for the analysis of data. The findings of the study are i) The level of computer awareness among the B.Ed. Student Teachers is 77.6%. ii) There is significant difference on the computer awareness between Gender, Locality and Basic qualification among the B.Ed. Student Teachers
