Abstract

Short stories have increasingly become a “time mirror” reflecting modern life trends. Contemporary scientific developments and literature travel hand in hand. The challenge lies in incorporating scientific concepts into literary works without distorting the literary structure. Sujatha is one author who has successfully achieved this balance in his works. The influence of science across disciplines is growing in today’s world, and literary creations that integrate these concepts are often referred to as scientific literature. Such works blend scientific ideas with literary expression. In Sujatha’s short stories, scientific themes are used effectively to communicate the philosophies of scientific scholars to society. This study aims to explore these scientific ideas in his short stories, as well as the narrative techniques employed to convey them.
