Plagiarism Policy

Shanlax International Journal of Tamil Research (SIJTR) is totally against any unethical act of copying or plagiarism in any form. Plagiarism is said to have occurred when large portions of an article have been copied from previously published resources. All article(s) submitted for publication to SIJTR are cross-checked for Plagiarism. Article(s) found to be plagiarized during initial stages of review are out-rightly rejected and not considered for publication in the journal.

Retraction Policy

SIJTR is committed to maintain highest levels of academic integrity and transparency. We have a clear and comprehensive retraction policy in place to ensure the reliability of the scholarly record and to bring our practice into line with international best practice.

Retraction Process

Initiation

• Retractions can be initiated by the author(s), readers, reviewers, or editors.
• All complaints or concerns about the integrity of an article, should be sent in writing to the Chief Editor at the official email.

Investigation

• The Chief Editor to conduct a preliminary investigation, to ascertain whether the claim is valid or not. If necessary, a Retraction Committee may be constituted made up of members of the Editorial Board and independent experts in the field.
• The investigation is going to be notified to the authors who will be allowed to respond to the allegations with evidence or clarification.

Decision

• Upon thorough examination, the Retraction Committee will recommend to the Chief Editor that the article should be retracted or corrected.
• In case of a retraction, the corresponding author and all co-authors will be informed prior to publishing the retraction record.

Retraction Notice

• The journal will publish a formal retraction notice in the journal’s next available issue, with a link to the original article.
• The notice will stipulate precisely why retraction is being requested, and by whom; that is, by the authors, editors or third parties.
• The original article is not removed but will be marked as retracted (and cannot be downloaded) on every page of the article. The PDF version may also have a watermark stating 'Retracted'.

Authors’ Right to Appeal

The authors are entitled to appeal against the retraction decision by sending a formal written explanation supported by evidence. Appeals will be reviewed by an independent panel of experts whose decision will be final.

Transparency and Accountability

We adhere to the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure fair and transparent processes. Our retraction policy aims to maintain the integrity of the research published in the SIJTR and to uphold trust in scholarly communication.

கருத்து திருட்டு கொள்கை

சான்லாக்ஸ் சர்வதேச தமிழ் ஆய்விதழின், எந்தவொரு நெறிமுறை மீறலான நகலெடுத்தல் அல்லது கருத்து திருட்டு செயல்களையும் முற்றிலும் எதிர்க்கிறது. முன்பு வெளியிடப்பட்ட ஆதாரங்களிலிருந்து பெரிய அளவில் உள்ளடக்கம் அனுமதியின்றி எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்டால், அது கருத்து திருட்டு எனக் கருதப்படும்.

இதழுக்கு சமர்ப்பிக்கப்படும் அனைத்து கட்டுரைகளும் மென்பொருள் மூலம் கருத்து திருட்டு/ ஒற்றுமை குறியீடு பரிசோதனைக்கு உட்படுத்தப்படுகின்றன. மதிப்பாய்வு செயல்முறையின் ஆரம்ப கட்டத்திலேயே கருத்து திருட்டு கண்டறியப்பட்ட கட்டுரைகள் உடனடியாக நிராகரிக்கப்படுகின்றன; அவை வெளியீட்டிற்காக பரிசீலிக்கப்படமாட்டாது.

திரும்பப்பெறல் கொள்கை

சான்லாக்ஸ் சர்வதேச தமிழியல் ஆய்விதழ், கல்வி நேர்மை மற்றும் வெளிப்படைத்தன்மையை உயர்ந்த மட்டத்தில் பேணுவதில் உறுதியாக உள்ளது. ஆய்வு பதிவின் நம்பகத்தன்மையை உறுதி செய்வதற்கும் சர்வதேச தரநிலைகளுடன் ஒத்துப்போகும் வகையிலும், தெளிவான மற்றும் விரிவான திரும்பப்பெறல் கொள்கையை இவ்ஆய்விதழ் பின்பற்றுகிறது.

திரும்பப்பெறல் செயல்முறை

தொடக்கம்

• திரும்பப்பெறல் நடவடிக்கைகள் ஆசிரியர்கள், வாசகர்கள், மதிப்பாய்வாளர்கள் அல்லது தொகுப்பாசிரியர்கள் மூலம் தொடங்கப்படலாம்.
• கட்டுரையின் நம்பகத்தன்மை தொடர்பான அனைத்து புகார்கள் அல்லது சந்தேகங்கள் எழுத்துப்பூர்வமாக முதன்மை ஆசிரியருக்கு அதிகாரப்பூர்வ மின்னஞ்சல் மூலம் அனுப்பப்பட வேண்டும்.

விசாரணை

• முதன்மை ஆசிரியர் முதற்கட்ட விசாரணை நடத்தி, குற்றச்சாட்டு பொருந்துமா என்பதை மதிப்பிடுவார்.
• தேவையானபட்சத்தில், தொகுப்பாசிரியர் குழு உறுப்பினர்கள் மற்றும் துறையின் சுயாதீன நிபுணர்களைக் கொண்ட திரும்பப்பெறல் குழு அமைக்கப்படும்.
• விசாரணை நடைபெறுவது ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்படும்; அவர்கள் ஆதாரங்கள் அல்லது விளக்கங்களுடன் பதிலளிக்க அனுமதிக்கப்படுவர்.

தீர்மானம்

• முழுமையான ஆய்வுக்குப் பிறகு, திரும்பப்பெறல் குழு கட்டுரையை திரும்பப்பெறலாமா அல்லது திருத்தலாமா என்பதை முதன்மை ஆசிரியருக்கு பரிந்துரைக்கும்.
• திரும்பப்பெறல் செய்யப்படுமானால், அதற்கு முன் தொடர்பு ஆசிரியரும் அனைத்து இணை ஆசிரியர்களும் அறிவிக்கப்படுவர்.

திரும்பப்பெறல் அறிவிப்பு

• இதழ் அடுத்த வெளியீட்டில் அதிகாரப்பூர்வ திரும்பப்பெறல் அறிவிப்பை வெளியிடும்; அதில் அசல் கட்டுரைக்கான இணைப்பு வழங்கப்படும்.
• அறிவிப்பில், திரும்பப்பெறல் ஏன் மற்றும் யாரால் (ஆசிரியர்கள் / தொகுப்பாசிரியர்கள் / பிறர்) கோரப்பட்டது என்பதை தெளிவாக குறிப்பிடப்படும்.
• அசல் கட்டுரை நீக்கப்படாது; ஆனால் அதன் ஒவ்வொரு பக்கத்திலும் “Retracted” எனக் குறிக்கப்பட்டு (பதிவிறக்கம் செய்ய முடியாதவாறு) வைக்கப்படும். PDF பதிப்பிலும் “Retracted” என்ற நீர்முத்திரை (Watermark) இடம்பெறலாம்.

ஆசிரியர்களின் முறையீட்டு உரிமை

திரும்பப்பெறல் தீர்மானத்திற்கு எதிராக ஆசிரியர்கள் முறையீடு செய்ய உரிமையுடையவர்கள். ஆதாரங்களுடன் கூடிய எழுத்துப்பூர்வ விளக்கத்தை சமர்ப்பிக்கலாம். இந்த முறையீடுகள் சுயாதீன நிபுணர்கள் குழுவால் பரிசீலிக்கப்பட்டு, அவர்களின் முடிவு இறுதியானதாக இருக்கும்.

வெளிப்படைத்தன்மை மற்றும் பொறுப்புணர்வு

இதழ், Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) வழங்கியுள்ள வழிகாட்டுதல்களைப் பின்பற்றி, நியாயமான மற்றும் வெளிப்படையான செயல்முறைகளை உறுதி செய்கிறது.

இந்த திரும்பப்பெறல் கொள்கை, சான்லாக்ஸ் சர்வதேச தமிழ் ஆய்விதழில் வெளியிடப்படும் ஆய்வுகளின் நம்பகத்தன்மையைப் பேணுவதோடு, கல்வி தகவல் பரிமாற்றத்தின் மீதான நம்பிக்கையையும் நிலைநிறுத்துகிறது.
