Abstract

This article discusses key economic concepts of Karl Marx, such as the division of labor, accumulation of capital, class, and class struggle. To analyze capitalist economics, Marx developed a systematic intellectual framework. However, this intellectual ambition was either reinterpreted or somewhat diluted by thinkers in the Anglo-centric philosophical tradition.

Even Marxists often emphasize Marx’s political contributions while underestimating his economic insights. Progressive thinkers believed it is essential to revisit and critically examine Marx’s most valuable economic ideas.

This study employs Marx’s original writings and research while also benefiting from their translated versions. It aims to clarify and logically analyze concepts directly derived from Marx’s texts-such as the division of labor, capital accumulation, class, and class struggle-by highlighting their internal coherence and interrelations
