Abstract

For administrative convenience, the Government of India has divided the country into states, union territories, districts, taluks, towns, villages, and hamlets, defining their boundaries. This study focuses on the socio-economic conditions of caste groups living in the Karisal region, based on the observations of Ponneelan.
