Hidden Language

Abstract
According to Tolkappiyar, what is spoken by authoritative persons of complete words/speech is called "marai mozhi" (hidden/cryptic language). Valluvar also says that the greatness of persons with complete speech will be revealed through hidden language on earth. Parimelazhakar, who wrote a commentary on this, explains that "marai mozhi" (hidden language) is of such a nature that whether spoken with compassion or anger, it will yield the respective results/benefits. From this, it becomes clear that "marai mozhi" is language that has been blessed with the complete power to act according to what the learned/wise intend. The purpose of this discourse is to explain how this "marai mozhi" is embedded in Tamil literature.
