Abstract

The Keezhadi excavations are a great example of archaeological evidence that demonstrates the glory of Tamil civilization to the world. The pots, ornaments, evidence of urban planning, and Tamil Brahmi scripts discovered through excavations are consistent with the lifestyle described in Sangam literature. This confirms the pride of the Tamil language as the oldest living language in the world. This article examines the antiquity of Tamil by examining the scientific, literary, and historical dimensions of the Keezhadi excavations.
