Abstract
Although people discard broken pottery shards, it can be said that these very fragments serve today as a mirror of time that reveals culture through excavations. This is because pottery is what reflects the culture of a place. Pottery was the very first creation to emerge in the world. This is because humans, upon acquiring some knowledge, learned the art of taking other materials nearby and fashioning them into useful objects for their needs. This is what first comes to mind when we think about it. The first industry/workshop that emerged was also the pottery-making workshop. It was through the pottery-making industry that humans first produced goods and began the system of trade and barter commerce. Therefore, the objective of this article is to examine information about pottery through excavations.
