Abstract

Anthropology can be defined as the science of knowing about humans. The Sangam period was the golden age of the Tamil people. They lived a good and noble life in the society they lived in. Tamils have the pride of living by setting limits and defining their lives. Their thought processes have become a beacon of light for life. From the beginning of humanity to the present day, the ancient Tamils were well aware of the connection between life and nature. The only constant in the world is change. Human lifestyles are changing day by day. Not only men but also women are getting involved in arts like music, dance, etc. The forms of education, dance, singing, and music that women of the Sangam period learned today have evolved and evolved to suit their economic development and practical life, and are now considered superior.
