Abstract

Begum Samru, also referred to as Seban or Nisabegum, was an influential figure in 18thcentury Mughal politics. She had a unique and notable relationship with the Mughal empire. Owing to her exceptional rise to power and intelligence, she played a significant role in Mughal affairs and was recognized as an important political personality of her time.
